Betty Boo and #delta sucks story part 2!!!

The gate agent looks at me- and says - the flight is closed!!! I was shocked and replied - but the boarding gate is still open and I made it!! You knew I was coming and I ran!!! This is the last flight out and I left my sick and possibly dying dog to make this trip!! It cannot be for nothing!! Please.... literally- she looked at me and said - you are rebooked for tomorrow!!! .
😫😫😩😫😭 I literally lost my shit!!! I was sobbing at this point!! All the stress of keeping it together for Betty... trying to be strong and meet my commitments.... the adrenaline from the run and stress... all hit me!!! I waited for about 10 minutes (yes- the gate agent was at my flight that long)- came up- smiling and laughing together with each other... I walked up and said- I hope you are both proud of who you are and the decision you just made!! I left my sick dog and I made it before departure- you knew I was coming and you could have let me on- you both made this decision to be #unkind and lack compassion - even when you knew my circumstance- you still did not proceed with compassion. #shame on you both!! She looked at me and said- yes, two people from your flight were coming- we knew you were coming. He made it on!!! #HE made it on- you mean the #man in #first class you waited for!!! But didn’t wait for he #woman in coach?????? They shrugged their shoulders - almost laughing at the cruelty they had toward another woman and baking in their power!! I said I was disgusted at them and delta. They said it wasn’t their fault- it was the #tower 🙄 I said #seriously - it is not the towers decision who you let on your plane and who you wait for! .
She said- you are booked out tomorrow and here is your voucher for a holiday inn!! I said - Holiday Inn- you want to put me up in a low end rat hole?? That is what you want to do for abandoning me when I left my sick #dog home... I walked away and stayed at a #Hilton .

blondebritlala I am a flight attendant (and completely dog obsessed ~ aren’t we all? Lol) for a DIFFERENT airline. I’m so sorry this happened to you ☹️. My company’s agents would have let you on, especially if they knew you were coming 😕. Perhaps you should write to Delta & let them know what happened. I know it won’t change the outcome but they should know how terribly you were treated. I hope the rest of your trip is successful & speedy so you can get home to Betty Boo ASAP 💗🐾

It must be a stipulation that in order to work for Delta, you must not have any compassion for people or dogs! I’m sorry this happened to you. Give Betty a kiss from me when you get home!!
