andrenevesinsta So I stopped by my “local” Toyota dealership because I noticed they had a new white ‘19 TRD Pro(identical to pictured) sitting out front. Sales rep noticed me and came out to talk to me. I told him that I am holding out for the ‘20. I then noticed that they had a $5,300 markup (aka Market Adjustment) on top of the MSRP window sticker bringing it to a grand total of just over $53k. Crazy! That’s like over $3k more than the MSRP on a Tundra TRD Pro. AND on top of that, without me even suggesting it, he told me that they don’t test drive the TRD Pros. 🤣 It’s almost like they are TRYING to not sell you a car. Lots of competition out there right now(Chevy ZR2, Gladiator, Ranger, etc) for you guys to be allowing greedy dealers to continue these sleazy sales tactics which in turn shy people away to the alternatives. Can’t be good for sales numbers. When the 20s arrive towards the end of the year, I will try my luck...if that doesn’t work out, my money will go elsewhere.
