Making the most of broken ice. No, I didn’t find it this way. I found it as a beautiful frozen puddle in the rocks. Then my clumsiness accidentally broke it. Instead of walking away, I decided to put the ice on display, like I had a while back at Lake Haiyaha in Colorado. The morning light was gorgeous and the Maine ice was a work of art, and now I have an ocean version of “ice on display” to go with my mountain one. •
