If one photo could sum up this entire trip. 🇲🇻
Here's some things I've either learnt or have been reinforced during my time here:
1. I need to go to South Africa because the False Bay rosé is exquisite. My ex cheated on me in Stellenbosch which put a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth, but this wine has rekindled my desire to go there. (I'm joking, the scenery and culture of cape Town too!). ❤️
2. I love pizza. Food should be enjoyed and celebrated, not seen as a treat or indulgence. I'm not saying be unhealthy, I'm saying you can have a relatively active lifestyle and still enjoy life's greatest pleasure! 🍕
3. The Maldives is paradise, even if you're not on your honeymoon. 🙏
4. Travel as much as you can, it will bring you more happiness and perspective than any designer item. 🌍
5. Whatever your age, if you feel undesirable, like you're constantly chasing a relationship, see being single as a weakness, or are made to feel like a freak for enjoying being single, then you need to read this book. I still love romance, but I used to chase love like it was the only source of happiness. I wish they taught it in schools! ✨
6. Life is just as happy when you're single. It takes time, and I used to think people were lying, but you can be. ❤️🙏🇲🇻
