Photo by @hannahreyesmorales | "Discrimination started at home," says Fenominah, a drag queen in Penang, Malaysia, who was verbally and physically beaten while growing up in a homophobic environment. Afraid to be seen in public in drag, Fenominah practices in places where she feels safe. "Drag has really changed my life, and how I think of life," she says. "Fenominah might not have the flashiest dresses, the creativity of the gods, but I know she can make the audience live the very moment that she’s in, to have fun and forget about the bad things in life.” For more stories follow @hannahreyesmorales. #survival #fenominah
