Roast chook (well, I was in Australia for a long time recently) for lunch. I’m afraid I must admit that I removed the herbs, burnt in the hot oven, with fresh at the end of cooking time, which is a bit fancy-fake I know, but can’t apologise too much as it gave me so much pleasure bringing it to the table. Plus, there’s plenty more rosemary and thyme in the garden.
