Last week, we focused on the myriad of messages I was inundated with as a child, many of them unhelpful, and some very harmful to my sense of self. I'll be honest, I have found myself experiencing many emotions, from sadness, to disappointment, to downright anger. And I have also found beauty, "over"standing, acceptance, compassion and forgiveness. One of the biggest "bloomthrough's" (as my coach @jlovecalderon says) is that I realized from childhood until adulthood, I learned that only when I acted confused and like a damsel in distress, I would get approval, love, validation and acceptance. * I now "over"stand that that way of thinking is an unconscious, core-limiting belief that keeps me from being my highest and best self and takes more space in the world. So now I choose a new belief! By being unapologetically myself, I am loved and accepted. It feels so good! I am evolving into the True me.
