@UKParliament has released an image of the newly restored and revealed North clock dial on the #ElizabethTower - otherwise known as #BigBen, you can see for the first time the real tangible difference being made by the restoration works. 😍 The old clock dials look quite tired now, when compared side-by-side with the new North dial. The other notable difference is the return to BLUE hands and numbers. Not black! 😱 This was actually the original decorative scheme but unless you were alive before 1930 you won’t have ever seen it in this scheme. Fun fact.
