We went live this morning with our wolf pack. 🐺 Click on our profile pic to meet Shadow, Koda, and Kona. Many of the questions were around pet ownership, so we wanted to clarify a few things.

1) Shadow and Koda are not mixed with dogs, they're gray wolves.

2) Wolves DO NOT make good pets. They're very difficult to care for and are not like domesticated dogs. Watch the live broadcast for more reasons why wolves are wild animals, not pets.

3) Our wolves, like most animal ambassadors, are kept on leashes for their safety and the safety of our guests. They're also able to explore Zoo grounds and enjoy enriching experiences while on leash. Do
not mistake the leash for an endorsement of owning wolves as pets.
