I lost someone great today. The man that taught me how to bark like a true Bulldog, make stiff drinks that would put hair on your chest, and do my taxes... told the best jokes about why the bees fly with their legs crossed, and had the most infectious laugh. Life won’t be the same without him - but I will count my blessings to have known and loved such a great person. To him I was the granddaughter that could do no wrong (one time I did steal a golf cart and he was pretty freaking mad lol) and I enjoyed every minute we spent together just having laughs, beers, and pecan sandies. This man taught me family has nothing to do with blood, and gave me the greatest example of what real lasting love looks like. He instilled the love of football in me, taught me an appreciation for the simple life on a marsh and gave me a glimpse of old southern charm that made me love where I come from. So grateful to have moved back home this last year to have made these last few memories together. RIP & GO DAWGS! 🖤

What I really enjoy about your page is you show what it means to be a real person... hardship, trials, tribulations, HARD WORK, your thoughts and other real life experiences. You dont just flaunt beauty where many have before. You show what's real... I pray only the best for you and loved ones in this time of need and pray some more that those who were most positive in your life and made you the good person you are. Your hard work will pay off and turn to greatness with perseverance. I hope you great accomplishments and fortune.

I’m so sorry for your loss! I, too, recently lost. My Mema was the most amazing woman I’ve ever known! She taught me manners, southern hospitality, how to grow watermelon, and just plain how to Be! Sounds like you knew someone like that! Aren’t we lucky?

You're a 'wealthy' woman, these relationships and experiences are the real wealth. (I enjoy your comments about 'the Dawgs' since I am from Athens but haven't lived there for a long while.)
