But I also firmly believe that there comes a moment in ones creative practice where what’s needed is simply to stand in the place you find yourself(creatively speaking) and quietly observe - take stock of where you are, where you’ve been and whats to come . These moments are different for each of us, dependent upon the sort of relationship you have with your own creative practice- for me it has always been a one foot in front of the other sort of thing. And I am constantly looking to incorporate my creative practice into my everyday- the ideal being a seamlessness and fluidity between them. I have built a sustainable creative practice for myself this way . but March came and I realized I had lost my way somewhere & what was needed was a moments pause in the making and doing in order to look around and see where I really was, to see the horizon line again . It’s was nice for a moment to be simply an observer and be reminded of all the wildly talented people in this space. I am awed and inspired daily and that is such a gift, so thank you!! . It is good to be back in this space and thank you to all of you who messaged privately to check in and say hello - that alone reminded me of what a wonderfully supportive creative community we all have here and that alone was worth being reminded of and is to be nurtured on the road ahead . .
