gil_e_liane It’s actually stoning for sodomy between men and unmarried hetero couples. The nation’s laws also include stoning for adultery, a decades imprisonment and whipping for lesbians, and jail for women who have abortions OR babies out of wedlock (how’s that for a no-win situation?) and amputation of hands or feet for robberies. I get the anti-gay focus catches Western headlines but there are so many issues with Sharia law in Brunei in general. This is just another horror in a long, growing list.
