Yesterday was #WorldAutismAwarenessDay - but today, tomorrow and all year will continue to be Autism Awareness day for our family. So thankful for the increased awareness and programs that are available to those with special needs. We still have a long way to go, not just funding the right programs, but keeping an open heart and mind when dealing with both kids and adults with invisible disabilities like ASD. .
A special shout-out to all those therapists and teachers who have dedicated their lives to helping people with ASD, you're all a bunch of patient angels.

tdewitt68 We still fight for our son Everyday. He graduated college with a 3.5 a degree in machining. Just got his first job w Boeing. Everyday is a struggle and I am always full of worry. But I had a ot therapist tell me years ago, "he will find his own way, you just need to let him. " probably the best and hardest advise to follow as a parent. Thank you for sharing your boy with all of us.
