I was scrolling through my social media this morning - seeing everyone looking happy and perfect - and realized it might be time to be a little more transparent. I have major imposter syndrome, and every day I wake up with a tiny twinge of dread that I am just one terrible comic away from losing my job and everything falling apart (anxiety, much?) I don’t always like my drawings (I’ve come a long way from just flat out hating them, like I used to). It’s taken me a long time to embrace how I draw and ignore that nagging voice inside of me that tells me I suck (still working on that one.. any day now!) I’m saying all of this to let you know two things: 1) While I’m extremely grateful for what I do, I struggle daily with self doubt just like so many others and 2) Don’t ever let anyone tell you that you aren’t good enough or worthy of good things, because you are. And by “anyone” that also means you. ♥️
