Step 8 | Edge & Sole Finishing

One of the final stages and the next highly skilled step in our production is the edge & sole finishing.

The sole edges are trimmed to the perfect shape of the last - a step like many other done free-hand by the skilled hands of our artisans.

Hereafter the edges and the soles are stained and wax is applied, to provide a waterproof seal and our specific shine.

Our artisans take pride in their work and, equally, we take pride in them.
