And if they don’t reach out and say “Hey I just realized we haven’t talked/connected in a while are YOU good?” Then it was always a one sided friendship. It should always be give and take. Not just give give give. And not just take take take. You ever have a friend that ONLy calls you to tell you about THEIR problems to get YOUR advice but never pauses to ask how YOU are? Or do YOU just constantly chase behind people calling and checking on them and they NEVER return that courtesy?? Those aren’t friendships or relationships. Those are unhealthy co-dependent “I don’t really give a shit about YOU” ships. Or those are “my self esteem is so low I’ll keep giving without ever standing up for myself and my needs” ships. Both are unhealthy AF! It’s spring- no better time than to clean out ya closets of things that don’t fit or don’t work anymore. OR if the person is important/special enough to salvage- have that super uncomfortable but REAL conversation like a real adult (avoidance is corny) and make that move and work it out! Life ain’t gonna last forever y’all. Don’t waste time not being fulfilled or as happy as you can be. And that’s my word ✌🏾
