My favorite parts of “DJ”ing The Hundreds X Emo Nite last night: 1) Setting it off with a tribute to Nip, 2) Getting to DJ alongside Blondie Beach, 3) bringing out special guest Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, 4) Celebrating Samii Ryan’s birthday party with Alysha Nett, Hattie Watson, Kitty, 5) Dom of Brockhampton remarking how special it is to see a club play rock music, 6) Matt Colon likening Emo Nite to the Cinepsace/Banana Split days of Hollywood, 7) Reuniting with Kreayshawn, 8) Scheming with Never Made about our hardcore show on Friday, with Fury (details soon), 9) imagining all the HR nightmares swirling around my debaucherous staff, 10) Our Emo Nite collab shirt selling out immediately. (Don’t worry, it hits our Online Shop Sunday night, 9pm PST), and 11) witnessing something powerful and transcendent happening with Emo Nite.
