Tossho in Hokkaido emerge from the melting snow in a race to pollinate before summer’s canopy of leaves blocks the sun. 🌞 Four hundred and twenty plant species call the mountain home, including Japan’s largest cluster of Fawn Lily. Seventy different bird species also live here, with different bird calls heard all year round.
