When I birthed my second son, Wesley, I've was very emotional. Like big waves of the not-me kind of emotional. And it comes with the territory. Adjusting to having two kids, major sleep deprivation, a new family dynamic, life, work, and just everything.

So when these times hit I keep reminding myself, ""God is bigger than the emotion that I'm feeling right now.” Because I try not to steer my life by my feelings; rather I steer my life by Truth. Here’s what I know: emotions are real, but God is the ultimate truth.

kyleesue17 Thank you @bethanyhamilton I needed this today. I have a 15 month old and we were shocked since I had infertility for 14+ years! She has been the best blessing! Now we found out we are having another one!! This was a huge shock because of the infertility, but also I will be 40! Yesterday I cried all day, just felt crummy and overwhelmed. This was exactly what I needed to hear today! Thank you!

soccerchic4031 Well said Bethany! As a mother of 2 myself (11 and 2) this is a great reminder for me on the days where I feel like I my emotions are on the edge. #truth!
