Video by @Tim Laman | Skiing in deep powder snow is something pursued by only a relatively small proportion of people on Earth, but to many who experience it, it becomes something of an obsession. When you can’t feel the bottom of the snow with your skis, you experience a weightless, floating, or flying sensation. It is hard to explain, but the quest for this experience changes lives, and even drives economies in certain very snowy places, such as Hokkaido, Japan, where I shot this in January.
