SPACE IS BLOWING MY MIND TODAY! M87 is a galaxy 53 million light-years from Earth and there is a image of the supermassive black hole in the center of it 🤯 It took 200 scientists from 20 countries 7 years to capture it. This black hole is about 6 billion times the mass of our sun. Its event horizon or its point of no return where light and matter get sucked in — is as big as our entire solar system 🤯 The ring around it is called it’s shadow and it’s actually light being bent and twisted by the gravitational pull, again 🤯 and also, Einsteins general theory of relativity was right. Cool! #M87 #space #mindblown

Trully a remarkable story.???I couldn't even imagine the total amount of working hours which were required for that picture.? Space exploration is really pushing the existing technology & science to threir limits. One the other hand...the path of progress requires challenge & determination.☺

It's hard to not sound like a flat earther but at that magnitude and distance light bending is accounted for heavily depending on the parabola of the lens . People forget about optics particular the near mm fisheye viewing angle of cell phone optics.

And, it was a female computer scientist named Kate Bouman who created the algorithm that turned the telescopic data into this photo ????

Is this real? Also you like space too? You're perfect for me! ? lol. I wonder if it bends space-time as Brian Cox theorized

Albert Einstein was far ahead for that time, he was THE genious of the last Century
