Today I wrote my Dads’ obituary and it really has me thinking about life in general. .
Death comes to all of us eventually & poof just like that we are gone. (at least in flesh)
.
Please don’t waste your precious time on pettiness. Stop looking for ways to be offended. Understand that none of us have it all figured out and we all just want love..yet all of us have a different idea of what that looks like and how to get it.
.
We all lose people we love: People die. People change. We grow apart. Sometimes we just realize ppl are different than we thought. When we accept it all and still send love with a big open heart we can never go wrong.
.
This is actually NOT meant to be sad. It’s a truth of life that we must embrace..and is really meant to be uplifting for those currently letting go of those you love. ❤️

I’ve had to write obits for both my parents. It is such a tough process trying to capture their spirit in words while in the midst of profound grief. It is an awesome responsibility and daunting task. I’m sorry for your loss but am glad you have been trusted with sharing your dad’s impact on others while he lived.

Damn you look good. I remember seeing you at a show at Thomas and Mack. I was on the 5th row I got good tickets bc it was a house show. One of the finest memories of my life. I think it was about 2003.

Torrie, always remember you don’t know what tomorrow brings. Enjoy each day like it is your last. Life is short so cherish each moment. I just started listening to that advice like year ago:)
