The rediscovery of a box of vintage photographs and glass transparencies shot by Paul’s father, Harold was the first step in creating the unique prints that feature across the spring/summer 2019 collection.
Time had altered and manipulated the images: beach scenes had faded to yellow and seascapes were washed to pink.
This accidental transformation inspired Paul to build on this colour palette while also adding his own images to create playful double-exposures. The result is a colourful print series that brings together past, present, father and son.
