Happy Birthday to an all around swell guy Ron Perlman. Just a couple of goofs yucking it up. A favorite was seeing him in the Hellboy get up doing a spot on impression of Jerry Lewis explaining to Guillermo that he thought the role was for The Bellboy, not Hellboy. Those that know a bit of film history will get it. 🎂 mamaries!

hellboy_meme_central Alrighty so the movie wasn't great but at least it wasn't too bad. Some scenes could do without narration, and other scenes could do without Ian MacShane... The film is strong, but the weakest is Ian MacShane... He should not have been in the movie? Hellboy in this movie is Highly Detailed, body fat, muscles, body hair, his face has wrinkles, his horn stump look like horns... Where as the Guillermo DelToro Hellboy suit. The Horn Stumps look like silicone rubber cups with some printing.... Hellboy 1 and 2 spent a lot of time doing the set production and side characters but not enough time detailing Hellboys body.... Its the Truth and you know it. If there ever is a sequel then Guillermo DelToro can try and do a little bit of this and that and fix this Hellboys personality.... Thats also another side effect of Ian MacShane being in this movie. Hellboy acts bratty and drunk... So yeah Perlman as Hellboy was able to sell the character much better, but the body detail wasn't good.... Your face is great though, thats your highlight for Hellboy. You probably wouldn't have wanted to wear 20-60 pounds of rubber and silicone... But your face would have helped???
