We were planing a trip through the country and were always laughing imagining us having a walk in Karnataka’s wildest settings wearing kaftan dresses, amazing hats and sunglasses. We were mentionining this journey as "Scandale en sandales". 😂 But a month after the booking a terrible car accident happened and in five days Emil vanished to another place I could'nt take a plane to. He might not be that far because I feel like he is next to me. I still ache to not have his smilling face and amazing spirit in front of me though. His passing taught me a lot about resistance, grief and sorrow. And about not waisting time in the realization of your ideas. About saying what you really feel and what you want to the people around you and enjoy every moment at its best. We promissed so much to each other. It was wonderfuly stimulating. Everytime I was sending him a text message about some activities he was answering « LET’S DO THIS! » I can check one more box because during this trip I enjoyed myself having breakfast in this old Mysore dusty palace wearing a kaftan dress designed by my friend Jagvir. And there will be a lot more kaftan moments in my life. Emil I think about you a lot and still will in a very very positive way. You might have left but your good energy burns in all the people you have been in contact with. Your brilliant mind is missed and your message will continue to make its way through us.
