To make “modern heirlooms handcrafted with antique materials.” She's particularly drawn to lace. “I am fascinated by the process of lace-making and happy there is a small movement and revival in the craft world,” says Prober, who adds that “the best elements of rescuing and reviving antique laces are the stories that you can find with them; written documentation of the lace-maker, the family, the event. This is important for me to document, preserve, and share.”
