This week we're highlighting the paint process for our guitars. Here's how it works: 1) Separate the bodies for grain-fill, undercoat, hand-stain, and/or finishing material. 2) After the bodies have an undercoat, they're hand-sanded to prepare them for color. Paints specifically developed for Fender, includes era-specific bursts, are hand-sprayed by experienced experts. 3) Bodies are then clear-coated and stored on conveyers to cure. Once the finish has cured, bodies are once again hand-sanded and buffed to our finish specifications. 4) There are an average of 147 hand operations that go into making a Fender guitar! #InternationalGuitarMonth
