Don’t get me wrong I’m sad to see this beautiful building burn, but yes, how about the other God given beautiful things that disappear everyday that people barely seem to notice or be effected by - why is that do you think?
How do we explain why certain things move us and certain things don’t ? #NotreDame

Thousands if not millions are working together to stop climate change, deforestation, Extinction, etc. But as soon as humanity collectively feels the loss of a historic building, people lose their shit. "Why do they care about this and not that" Who says they don't. The ones caring about this are most likely the same ones trying to save the planet. So why do I feel attacked because I felt history shed a tear?

If you’re worried about the environment not getting enough attention I could list at least 10 different organizations dedicated to the environment. People are probably more interested in this because it’s recent this will be old news in a week. Most people don’t care that much anyway it only seems like it because of tv

It's really true, god gave us a lot of beatiful things and than humans destroy them, but this thing was burning and someone said that he was giving a lot of money, what about the poor people they don't get help or any food, I only pray for poor people not for something that i just a building

@paulblackthorne right now near my hometown are lots of animals dying lots of trees disappearing cause of a fire and no one cares about it. Why care for a building that can be rebuilt but don’t care for species that we will never get back?

Exposure. Notre Dame in films and pics. Rainforest destruction and meat markets exposed regularly would create a larger uproar.
