I had the distinct honor and pleasure of spending time with @osopepatrisse, co-founder of @blklivesmatter, last night. She is luminous, brilliant, and has the best laugh I’ve ever heard. After listening to her explain the urgent need to reform the Los Angeles jail system, an initiative that will be on the March 2020 ballot for all of LA county, I am determined to help make sure it passes, so that we can create a template for jail systems in EVERY state. ofri_plaut_ I don’t know who read this but I want you to know that you loved. There are people out there that going to make you feel like there is something wrong with you. If it’s your religion, the one you love, the color of your skin or even the way you dress. But let me tell you something : YOU ARE Beautiful ! And what makes you beautiful is that you are different from others. Be unique, be who you want to be. Take out of your life the people who makes you feel like there is something wrong with you, friends and even family because those people don’t know how special you are. And if you feel alone or that life can’t get better I promise to you that it will get better. I hope you will find your happiness because you deserve it ?❤️?

jillyblueyes I would love to get involved. So @osopepatrisse and @oliviawilde please contact me. I don’t live in LA. But the federal system is a mess and I have experience with that. I’ve tried to get involved and for some reason get pushed aside when people see me. I’m not sure why, I have valuable insight. I’m happy to make a donation & volunteer.
