evpeltier I didn't even see this, and I know it was shit. As soon as the Village came out, M. Night Shamalyn's filmmaking experience went down the drain. Take a look at Kubrick, Tarantino, or even P.T. Anderson for example. Kubrick went from Paths of Glory, to making 2001: A space odyssey and Clockwork Orange, two of the greatest films ever made. Tarantino went from Reservoir Dogs to Pulp Fiction. P.T. Anderson went from Boogie Nights and Magnolia to There Will Be Blood, a masterpiece of cinema. Shyamalan went from Sixth Sense, to Unbreakable to The last Airbender, which was on the list of the worst films ever made. If that's not a downward spiral, then idk wtf is.
