Protesters stand on top of a train at London’s busy Canary Wharf station to highlight the threat of climate change. Extinction Rebellion, a grassroots environmental group, is engaging in a series of non-violent civil disobedience activities to push for action. Hundreds of its members have been arrested this week as the group stages demonstrations across London, including blocking some of the city’s busiest bridges and intersections on Monday and disrupting tube service today.
