Or “Why is this happening FOR me?” Both are powerful reframes when we encounter parts of lives or our days that don’t go as we expected or wanted. Try them on for a day to start! Would love to hear who is going to try it and how people feel after the day! Comment below! 😍😍😍 (of course you can try it for more than a day...in fact, I’d recommend it. 🥰)

When you see trough that perspective, everything changes... even your environment. I’ve always had issues with depression, and my psychiatrist told me this exact thing: “Always try to find the beauty... What is this teaching me? What am I learning?” And this way I became even stronger. Then I started paying attention to my feelings, instead of trying to make them disappear.. the moment I began this introspection, I realised I could find the source of my feelings; understand myself even better and control them.
I might be typing too much, but well, I got inspired.
I Hope you have an amazing day, night and life per se.

Very true. Most dark times are a blessing in disguise. Recent tough periods have inspired some of my best writing, something I wouldn’t have been able to do without going through them. It’s these moments that are there to teach us the greatest lessons life has to offer.

It’s a life changing perspective shift. I went to Iraq at 19 and ‘adulthood’ hit me in the face like a brick as soon as I landed. I’m 30 now. I still learned this young and still try (and struggle) and remember it every day because, fact is, bad things will happen...mistakes will happen..it’s only a matter of when. So you may as well be ahead of the game and be prepared to dive into a good ol lesson ??♀️.

I LOVE this. Going through storms we often ask why me? Why is this happening to me? That we lose focus on the bigger picture. Everything happens for a reason. It’s going to teach us something regardless if it’s known right then and there or years later. Things don’t happen by a mistake. Lessons.

@ashton.witham so true. Whenever you feel bad this is what you need to think. It helps so much and makes your life so much more positive ❤️❤️
