Throwback Thursday: Cannes 1994. I’m on the left and the stud on the right with the @festivaldecannes badge hung temptingly below his treasure trail is the better half of #smodcast, @grinchmovie director @samosier! Mister @marktuskflaneurfoto not only championed our first film #clerks, he also captured this casual (almost sexual) moment on the #pulpfiction yacht! Look at us: two crazy kids from the @vancouverfilmschool who made a movie with spit, glue, and credit cards, suddenly finding themselves at the center of the cinematic universe as their world cracks open! We were on the cusp of 24 and our dreams had kinda came true - and that was the moment Scott decided to tan his midriff. But 1994 Kev has no idea that, four years later in 1998 he’ll meet @jenschwalbach - or that he’ll become a Dad to @harleyquinnsmith five years later in 1999. In his mind, @jayandsilentbob are neither striking back nor rebooting - because when this moment was marked, the kid hiding his abs wants nothing more than to make #mallrats. This photo is 25 years old - but it feels like it happened last week. Life moves at the speed of Barry Allen. However, this @ww Ambassador would like to point out that he weighs less today than he did when this photo was taken. imtheheppest I’ve seen and loved all your movies, man. I practically lived off of Jay and Silent Bob, Clerks, Chasing Amy, and Dogma all through high school. Not to mention the podcast, love that too. You’ve always been a badass, awesome dude and it’s so crazy to see old pictures and pictures from now and see how far you’ve come, both with your career and your weight loss. linothewriter I remember from one of the Clerk's 10 year DVD documentaries. Where you and Scott talk about how neither of you liked each other when you first met at Film School. You thought of him as a "90210 Pretty Boy." This shot of Scott pretty much encapsulates that.
