Well, two years ago a near fatal car accident almost took my life. It’s actually a miracle I’m alive. I was left with some very serious injuries, some Ive recovered from. Others I’m still dealing with, like PTSD, herniated disks, pinched nerves etc. But this accident was also the biggest blessing of my life. It changed me, completely. My entire perspective on life shifted, my priorities suddenly changed. It’s ironic that a near death experience is what brought me back to life. When your stuck to a hospital bed, alone, with broken ribs, a collapsed lung, a concussion, and a broken heart you are forced to re evaluate what’s really important in life. We become so busy and caught up in our hectic demanding work schedules, chasing “success”, chasing money, chasing our so called dreams, that we forget that our health, our happiness, our peace of mind, our well being, and our personal lives should always come first. I discovered that balance is the key to life. That without God, without faith, without love, we are nothing. All that being said, Im finally going in to have back surgery. I’m hoping to have a speedy recovery and yes I will be back stronger than ever just like Tiger Woods lol. I will be back doing what I love full force very very soon but this time pain free and much wiser. This is probably my most vulnerable post to date but I wanted to first ask all of you to keep me in your prayers because I hate medical procedures lol and second, I wanted to let anyone that’s going thru anything at the moment know that tough times don’t last, but strong people do.
