Been aiming to cut my morning routine down which has involved leaving the house with NO EYELINER ON. My lil lid crutches. My second brows. My epicanthic BOLDS. I’ve been doing a light brow, lip & mascara on my tiny lashes, but if anyone has recs for a lighter foundation I’m listening. My Fenty foundation now takes me into full White Chicks territory without the structural support of rimmed eyeballs 👀 ps Happy Passover!! 🍷 #4Elijah

nicole_k_627 I wanted to call in this morning so badly, but I was pulling in to work. I normally don’t push skin or make up suggestions as I know everyone is different, but as a 40 year old woman with chronic eczema and rosacea on my face, I have found something that has made the biggest difference of my life! It is called “Buffet” by The Ordinary. I am a Rouge member at Sephora, so obviously I love my high end skin and make up, but this stuff is SUPER cheap and it WORKS! My face is so much more even now, and super soft. My pores are so small and I have even seen a noticeable reduction in my wrinkles! It did take about 3-4 weeks for people (including my super critical mother) to say “Wow! You skin looks amazing! What are you doing different?”, but it was worth the wait! Now I buy 3 “Buffets” at a time in case they ever discontinue it. Pair that with my new eyelashes that I just had a “lift and tint” done on (not extensions, but my 10 year old says they look like “snapchat filter eyelashes”) and I am finally completely confident in going out in public with just a dab of lipgloss.

thecleversophisticate @michcoll I also hate facial sunscreens EXCEPT for Elta MD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 Facial Sunscreen. It comes in a pump, lasts for months and is available in regular and tinted. It's perfect under foundation. No oiliness, no greasiness, undetectable under makeup and doesn't cause makeup to ball up either. It is highly recommended by lots of dermatologists and has a lot of great ingredients to keep acne prone skin calm. I have been using it for years. Love it! Try it. Cause, girl, you have to wear sunscreen now or you will regret it when you are older.

cynthiaraqs You’re a beautiful girl, and you don’t need a full face of foundation. It’s harsh looking and not healthy for the skin. Let your inner glow shine through with spot/ angle concealing with a good concealer like NARS and a sheer highlight like Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfecter Liquid Highlighter. And finally, skincare before makeup always. A greater investment in a good dermatologist and their prescribed skincare regime/products/prescriptions and regular facials/peels, diminishes the need to cover the skin with a full face of foundation. ?

sarahalexander23 I agree with you about the it cosmetics cc cream. It’s a little too thick. I just discovered confidence in a compact by it cosmetics. It’s very light with just the right amount of coverage. You should try it!
