@paigepowellofficial at #GucciWooster captured in front of the recreation of her original 1984 art installation from Beulah Land in the East Village, which will be open to the public through May 17th. The event celebrated the launch of the book set ‘PAIGE POWELL’ exploring the cultural significance of New York City—from Harlem to the East Village to SoHo—in the 80s and early 90s as seen through the lens of the artist. Paige Powell photographed the everyday activities around her, capturing moments of art, culture and nightlife including these images featuring Andy Warhol, Stephen Sprouse, Emanon Johnson, Keith Haring, Kenny Scharf and Timothy Leary.
