This week The Princess Royal has attended many engagements around the UK including in London and Taunton.
Her Royal Highness officially opened The UK Hydrographic Office yesterday. It provides hydrographic and marine geospatial data to mariners and maritime organisations across the world.
One of The Princess Royal’s main focuses is safety at sea, HRH is Master of Corporation of Trinity House UK who help to ensure safe navigation around the Irish and UK coasts.
Her Royal Highness also visited the Royal Museum in Greenwich to name the UK Fisheries new distant water fishing vessel on Wednesday. After naming “Kirkella”, HRH met crewmembers, learning about the processes and operations of the ship.
