These shots are from when I recorded my song Bloody Nose on a boat in London with @aawilliamsmusic & @t_dubz_bass a couple years back. I hadn’t slept the night before as I was flying back and forth across the ocean a lot that year - workin & playin too hard - but it turned out to be one of my favourite cuts so far. Check out the song on Spotify or iTunes or whatever if you haven’t already; it’s on the Captain Solitaire EP. Daddy’s slowed down the metaphysical pace since then and lo and behold: more music and more clarity than ever before. Tortoise and the Hare innit. Never let anyone rush you, including yourself. Set your own pace. Make your own rules. Cut toxicity out of your life, including your own bullshit. Allow new visions to appear in the silence between your life’s chapters. Allow change to coarse through you. Let it excite you. Spend more time in nature. Get your heads out of your fucking phones and reattach them to your spines. It’s not like I’ve got it all figured out, by the way. Every day is a struggle. But once you know that, it’s kind of ok. Be your own guide. I normally write all this psychobabble, delete it and stick w enigmatic captions, but ima leave it this time. Maybe it’ll connect with someone. We’re all living in this crazy blip of time together. It’s so fucking brief. May as well share truths we have come to know. I guess that’s what it’s all about, right? In Art We Trust. Nothing but love fam.
