Venus Cat さんのインスタグラム写真 - (Venus Cat Instagram)「Update 4/29 11:26pm EDT: Mimi’s foster Mom just let me know that the vet who was to do her surgery today had a life threatening emergency case that pushed Mimi’s surgery to early tomorrow morning. She is being kept very comfortable and free of pain until then. Her emergency center vet bill (she was discharged today to go to the vet who will perform the surgery) ended up being twice what the rescue thought it would be but the rescue added a fundraiser to their FB page today to make sure they could not only pay that but any additional expenses that are over and above the initial estimate. That goal too has been met. I’m so amazed by the way so many people who don’t know each other or the Rescue came together to help! It’s refreshing and humbling beyond words! I will add another update as soon as I get one. ❤️❤️ . Update 10:26pm EDT: The goal has been reached to help this girl in less than an hour!! You guys are amazing! *NO FURTHER DONATIONS NEEDED* If the rescue needs help again on a future special case over and above the support we give them I’ll create a post for that specific case. She was rescued from the street after a kid noticed she had an eye infection and he poured alcohol on her eye to “help”. Not sure of age of the kid or any other details aside from what is below. They're going to keep her comfortable until she can get the eye surgery and spay on Monday but still in MAJOR need of donations. The Emergency vet was $500 just by itself!
