Photo by Joel Sartore @Joel Sartore | The yellow-billed stork is a wading bird found in Madagascar and Africa, south of the Sahara. When hunting, this bird makes slow, deliberate movements, but its fast muscle reflex allows it to easily catch moving prey. When hunting for frogs, fish, and worms, the stork will use one leg to stir the mud or water in order to startle their prey, forcing them from their hiding places. To see another shot of this species follow @Joel Sartore. Photographed @thelivingdesert. #stork #yellowbilledstork #PhotoArk
