At one point I thought I’d been injured enough to learn all I could from them. But yesterday with a sore finger funneling me to climbs that didn’t use fingers, Randy said “isn’t it cool that you are manteling again?” It reminded me that for years after my shoulder surgery I was too injured or scared to mantel, and now I hardly think twice about them. It was a nice reminder that there’s always a silver lining, even when you don’t expect it. Bonus points if you can spot the forest gnome in the background 🧐😉

Spotted! And thanks for encouraging comments. I am still so fearful of putting any weight on my wrist. Makes it hard to do the things I took for granted. Gotta keep at it...
