This is the first birthday in my whole life where I am single. It’s been six months and I am just starting to feel like I am settling in this beautiful space inside myself. For the first time in my life, all that I have is mine. My body, my time, my emotions. . I truly feel like being continuously coupled (haven’t been single since I was 13 years old - yes you read well) had impaired my emotional growth. It’s okay - maybe that’s what I wanted and needed. But now the garden inside can finally grow. . There is nothing more magical than that feeling of finally blossoming into who I truly am.
