Bronx Green-Up community gardens might be better known for growing vegetables, but did you know that many of the gardens they work with also cultivate native wildflower beds to attract important pollinators? Here you can see just a small sampling of what’s being grown at Bainbridge Avenue Garden, including #Oenotherafrutocosa, #Monardadidyma Balmy Purple, #Passifloraincarnata, #Coreopsisgrandiflora ‘Pesto’, #Opuntiahumifusa, and #Echinacea ‘Cheyenne Spirit’. They even have a “hotel” for beneficial garden bugs!
