The fact that I’ve always found it hard to open up and share my story to the world was something I’ve been so protective of considering the constant criticism and opinions strangers have without knowing a persons background. It’s the one thing I hold closest to my heart, my sanctuary. My story was beautifully captured by a team that understood my heritage and that I put my trust into @dyirgou @ezziechidiofong @olimcavoy @alexkovacs so thank you from the bottom of my heart! This goes to show that we as a society should stop assuming we know others, their struggle and sacrifices without stepping a foot into their shoes. There’s much more to us then pretty images, it’s a story that has many pages...some we wish weren’t written but fortunate to have experienced and grown from but most importantly to be proud of.
