We talk to the girls (Darcy understands more than Pearlie of course!) about the impact of our little changes at home on the big changes in the world. Things like washing at a lower temp, recycling everything we can, and turning off lights when we’re not using them. I find Darcy is so keen to know as much as possible about climate change and loves doing her bit. . It’s so nice to light the house with fairy lights, cosy lamps and neon ice creams (ha!!) but we also talk a lot about turning them off when we leave the room and being less wasteful. We are having a smart meter installed soon and I’m so excited to geek out at how much energy we can save!! Doing small things around the house can save energy, reducing our impact on our beautiful world. .
