Long, Grown-Out Blonde ➡️ Messy Smokey Shag. 🖤

PROCESS: 👇
1️⃣ Started out bringing up that blonde with full saturation of @paulmitchellus Dual Purposes Lightener + 20vol and feathering out towards the top in the last 1” of each section. Then I pulled all foils out and saturated the ends with the same formula.
2️⃣ After rinsing, I pre-toned with #TheDemi 9A + 9V equal parts. I did a full rough dry and trimmed some excess hair we didn’t need using up extra product.
3️⃣ After mixing two formulas in The ColorXG: 1)- 6AA + 1” “worm” of Blue Intensifier + maybe 2 pea sized DOTS of 1AA (then if we are being honest with ourselves here I went back and added a lil 5A for depth as what we call an “anxiety shot”, anyone else do this?!). 2)- 1oz 9A + 1/2oz Blue Intensifier + 1 baby dot 1AA, I applied formula 1 to the base, pulling it down in some places and leaving it as much of a shadow root in others, then went through and melted that into formula 2.
4️⃣ I let process, shampooed, and cut this punky little shag look that I’m obsessed with. ⏰ Total Time: approx 3.5 hours
