Almost 4 years into out relationship I lied & cheated on her. Weeks after she found out she finally came over my house to talk. When she arrived I begged her to forgive me. I felt good about our future when she left. On her way home that night a drunk driver swerved into her lane and hit her head on. As the fire department was cutting her out of her car with a crushed lung & multiple compound fractures, they told me she was asking how the person was in the other car. The drunk driver was unharmed. After weeks in ICU/hospital & many miracles, she was ready to leave the hospital the next morning. Her last night in the hospital she asked me if I would stay & help wash her hair with the nurse. I told her no I have a party to go to but I’ll see you first thing in the morning. When her parents(only child)& I arrived to the hospital the next morning to take her home we were notified that Patty formed a blood clot that quickly reached her brain & passed away.
