S. Eliot’s modernist masterpiece from 1943. The stage design centers on paintings by Marden, their colors and strokes making connections to the geographical locations of the masterpiece’s four individual parts. This unprecedented collaborative performance of the work is the first to be authorized by the T. S. Eliot Estate and takes place at the Barbican Theatre from May 22–25.
