Celebrating 100 years of Finnish-Japanese relations, Japanese architect and designer Jo Nagasaka has applied his experimental ColoRing surface treatment to Aalto’s classic Stool 60, Bench 153B and Tea Trolley 901. ColorRing is a merging of two age-old Japanese practices, Udukuri and Tsugaru-nuri, and results in surprising colour combinations and irregular patterns.
