〜Part 5 • trend vs non-trend 〜

This is the last post of this series. I am not a big fan of chasing trends and I think I’ve posted about that before.

The same kind of trend comes back every few years and not all trending fashion is my taste.
・
Buying trending pieces every season does not suit my lifestyle either. I like my wardrove to be simple and very capsule.
・
The picture shows one of my favourite camel trousers that I bought many years ago. If my memory is correct, I think I bought it back in 2008.
・
Double tucked trousers were not a trend at all when I bought it, but I love classic pieces like this and if you do a good mix and match, you can style it in many ways.
・
For trad looks, style it with a loafer and belt. I mixed it with an Uniqlo belt which was only $10 and I love it because its so simple and the quality was good for its price. For a casual chic look, mix it with a high cut sneakers.
・
Trending or not, high or low, it all comes down to how you style it in your own way and if it suits your lifestyle.

coco_calico_ Thanks for always inspiring me. I was one who used to chasing trends and buy unnecessary stuffs to be “on trend”. Now looking back, I could’ve buy/invest to something more valuable with that money. Hahaha. But we can always learn from our mistake right?
